ABOUT US

The Centre national de ressources Robert Laplane (Robert Laplane national resource centre)

The Centre de ressources is aimed towards anyone with speech and language disorders hindering their access to language and causing major communication difficulties, namely:

  • deaf children or adults with disorders associated with their deafness, and
  • children or adults affected with complex language disorders.

Made up of experienced professionals, the Centre de ressources team travels across the whole country. For over two decades, the team has been creating solutions to clear the course for those hindered with rare disability. Its “resource” activities are undertaken on behalf of the disabled person themselves, as well as on behalf of those involved in their support (e.g. families, specialist and guidance teams, partners from the French national education system, care-givers). They include giving help, support, training and advice, and sharing information and expertise.
