The Centre national de ressources Robert Laplane is aimed at people with speech and/or language disorders which impede their access to language and induce significant communication difficulties:
- children or adults with complex language disorders (troubles complexes du langage, TCL)
- deaf children or adults presenting impairments associated with their deafness
At the same time as it has made its knowledge and expertise available to people affected with rare disability, their families, and care professionals, the Centre de ressources Robert Laplane team has, incrementally, been characterising the disorders and impairments associated with deafness and decoding the complex functional profiles of people with language disorders.
